Refunds, cancellation & legal
Last updated: 6 September 2026
ReelNaut sells subscriptions through Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record. Paddle handles payment, invoices, sales tax and VAT, and appears on your card statement.
1. Plans and billing
- Each series is its own plan, billed monthly or yearly in USD. The price shown at checkout is the full price, taxes included where applicable.
- Plans renew automatically at the end of each period until cancelled.
- A free preview (script, sample scenes and a voice sample) is available once per account without a payment method. Full videos require an active plan.
2. Cancellation
- Cancel any time from Billing → Cancel plan. The series keeps rendering and publishing until the end of the paid period; nothing is charged afterwards.
- You can also cancel through the Paddle customer portal linked from the Billing page or from any Paddle receipt email.
3. Refunds
- 7-day money-back guarantee on the first charge of a new plan: contact us within 7 days of the first payment and we refund it in full, no questions asked.
- Renewal payments are not refundable once the period has started, because rendering costs are incurred immediately. If a renewal was charged by mistake and no video has been rendered in the new period, we refund it.
- If the Service fails to produce videos for a whole billing period because of a fault on our side, we refund that period.
- Refunds are issued by Paddle to the original payment method, usually within 5–10 business days.
4. Failed payments
If a renewal cannot be charged, the affected series is paused and you are notified by email and in the app. Update your card within 7 days to keep the plan; otherwise the plan is cancelled and the series stays paused until a new plan is started.
